System Administration Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled technical professional to fill the position of System Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our computer systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux system administration, with experience in HPC environments being a plus. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems is essential, along with basic knowledge of Linux installation and configuration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and manage storage systems using nfs,smb,iscsi protocols
  • Install, configure and maintain Linux systems
  • Ensure high availability and performance of our computing resources
  • Troubleshoot complex system issues and resolve them in a timely manner
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Linux system administration and apply this knowledge to improve our systems

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems
  • Basic knowledge of Linux installation and configuration
  • Experience with job schedulers like SLURM, PBS, or similar
  • Understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting
  • Understanding of PFS file system (Beegfs)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as RHCSA
