Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

This role involves the application of mechanical engineering principles to support the design and analysis of engine systems and components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System & Component Analysis:
    • Apply mechanical engineering principles, specifically in Mechanics of Solids, Vibrations, Rotor Dynamics, and Machine Design to ensure the reliability and performance of engine systems.
    • Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using advanced tools like Nastran, MATLAB, and Hypermesh for system dynamics and vibration analyses.
  • Design Improvements & Execution:
    • Independently drive improvements in engine design and system performance by executing design tasks with minimal supervision.
    • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and meeting deadlines.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Work effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
    • Communicate technical information clearly and confidently to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong Fundamentals in Mechanics of Solids, Vibrations, Rotor Dynamics, Machine Design, and Finite Element Analysis.
  • Proficiency in Nastran, MATLAB, Hypermesh for system dynamics, vibration, and FEA analyses.
  • Experience in system dynamics and linear & non-linear vibration analyses.
  • Ability to work independently, ensuring flawless execution and driving design improvements.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical information.
