About the Role:

We are seeking a technically strong, versatile professional with a passion for automating work and improving employee experience by building scalable tools within the Google Workspace and Slack ecosystems.

This role requires hands-on development across both platforms - Google Apps Script and related APIs, as well as Slack platform tools including APIs, Bolt SDK, and Workflow Builder.

You will design, develop, and maintain solutions that drive productivity across the company by creating custom tools and automation using Google Apps Script, AppSheet, and Slack's Bolt SDK and APIs.

Build cross-platform integrations between Slack and Google Workspace apps (e.g., Gmail, Drive, Calendar) to streamline business processes such as onboarding, approvals, ticketing, and compliance workflows.

Partner with IT Security, Legal, and Engineering teams to ensure tools follow best practices for privacy, security, and scalability.

Coding in Python and owning the operational lifecycle of developed tools, including support for escalations and improvements is key.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field-or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in software development or IT automation roles in an enterprise setting.
  • Demonstrated experience developing on both Google Workspace and Slack platforms.
  • Proficiency in scripting and development languages such as JavaScript, Python, and Bash.
