Job Title: Technical API Solutions Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Technical API Solutions Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable and efficient API solutions.

About the Role

This is a pivotal role in our technological growth. You will manage the workflow, projects, and assignments of our API development team.

  • Provide technical assistance to the Support and Implementation teams relative to system and applications operations and troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Collaborate with other cross-functional leads from Engineering, Product, Pre-Sales and Customer Success.
  • Provide direction and mentorship to the team and help setup best practices.
  • Responsible for the testing processes performed by the API development team and the testing of assigned work.
  • Requires programming experience and knowledge of one of the scripting languages, preferably Python. Knowledge of relational databases and ability to write SQL queries.
  • Provides on-call support as needed.

This role requires 5-7 years of experience in system integration and API development.

Key Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of micro services framework, RESTful and SOAP APIs, JSON, XML and related technologies. You should also have:

  • Programming experience and knowledge of one of the scripting languages, preferably NodeJS or Python.
  • Ability to manage multiple integration projects and priorities.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and ability to write SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and their integration services.
