Project Management Specialist

Job Title: Project Management Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned project management professional to implement, configure, and operationalize project portfolio management and project controls for our organization. The consultant will lead the configuration of project portfolios, projects, contracts modules, cost control, forecasting, EVM integrations with upstream systems, and build standardized reporting analytics.

  • Configure project portfolios, projects, contracts modules, design cost classes, coding structures, WBS, timesheet budget forecasting workflows, change controls, and governance templates.
  • Establish baselines, progress capture, EACEVM calculations, variance analysis, dashboards, implement standardized monthly cycle forecast accruals, KPIs.
  • Orchestrate integrations between project management tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, SFDC, schedulers, Primavera P6, MS Project, EDW Snowflake, IICS) to enable single source reporting.
  • Build portfolio and project dashboards, KPI cost schedule performance funding vs actuals leveraging project management reports aligned to organizational reporting cadences.
  • Translate organizational governance into project management processes, gates approvals auditability author SOPs Runbooks and conduct user training.
  • Engage program leads, finance controllers, PMs, and data teams, manage change requests and cutovers aligned to Statement of Work deliverables.
Required Qualifications:
  • 6 - 10 years in project controls.
  • 3 years hands on project management software configuration and administration.
  • Strong cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and EVM knowledge monthly close processes.
  • Proven integration experience with SAP, SFDC, EDW Snowflake, IICS or similar ETL ability to define source to project management mappings.
  • Reporting skills: native project management software plus Power BI, Tableau for enterprise distribution.
  • Solid SQL data modeling fundamentals Agile delivery Scrum SAFe.
