Cloud Engineering and DevOps Specialist

Job Description:

  • Design, manage, and optimize cloud-native systems on AWS for scalability, security, and resilience.
  • Support and enhance Azure services, including AKS, Cosmos DB, Postgres, Redis, Key Vault, and KeyCloak.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and GitHub Actions to streamline software development and deployment.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, Chef, and Vault to increase efficiency and reduce manual errors.
  • Containerize applications using Docker, Docker Compose, and orchestrate with Kubernetes to ensure consistent deployment and management.
  • Implement and enforce GitOps workflows, branching strategies, versioning, tagging, and release processes to improve collaboration and delivery speed.
  • Manage artifact repositories and integrate with build systems to facilitate seamless collaboration and deployment.
  • Ensure code quality and security by utilizing tools like SonarQube, Dependabot, megalinter, MSTest, and Twistlock.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Good hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation.
  • Proven expertise in AWS services and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, and Shell.
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and GitOps practices.
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud services and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Solid understanding of C# and JavaScript build/deploy pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, Chef, and Vault.
