Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to support the smooth operation of our accounting functions. This is a remote position that requires timely and accurate financial records, efficient accounts payable management, and full compliance with tax and reporting obligations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in general accounting, AP, and tax compliance. Proficiency in software such as NetSuite, Bill.com, QuickBooks, Sage, and CRM platforms is required. Strong communication skills and a proactive, organized work style are essential for success in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 2–5 years of experience in general accounting; AP experience is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and attention to detail
  • Remote work experience with US clients is a must
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and CRM tools

Key Responsibilities
  1. Handle general accounting tasks – Prepare financial statements, post daily bank transactions, and manage monthly reconciliations
  2. Manage journal entries – Record accruals, prepaids, and various other balance sheet items
  3. Support tax compliance – Monitor and ensure timely filing of Sales/Use Tax returns
  4. Assist accounts payable – Process vendor invoices, credit memos, and 1099s via Bill.com
  5. Maintain financial systems – Use and update tools like NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, and CRM platforms
