Financial Operations Associate

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Associate to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records in Zoho Books, including journal entries, payments, receipts, and bank transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain financial records accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Perform monthly bank and vendor reconciliations, as well as support month-end and year-end financial closure activities.
  • Prepare and file GST (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and TDS returns, while assisting in internal and statutory audits by providing necessary documentation and data.
  • Support the finance team in preparing profit & loss statements, balance sheets, MIS reports, budget vs actuals, and cash flow analysis.
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial operations, preferably in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Zoho Books or similar accounting software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
