Job Title: Data Storage Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Storage Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support for data storage infrastructure, including SAN, NAS, ECS, and DASD + Tape systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ITIL processes, incident management, and service desk software such as ServiceNow. Experience with Dell EMC, Cisco, and HPE Storage products is also essential.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing L2/L3 level support for Storage (SAN, NAS, ECS or MF DASD + TAPE) in a mission-critical banking environment.
  • Performing daily health checks, monitoring, and routine tasks using runbooks.
  • Acknowledging and triaging alerts; logging and updating incidents in ServiceNow/BMC.
  • Executing backups/restores and routine jobs under change and supervision.
  • Escalating to L2/L3 with accurate diagnostics, logs, and metrics.
  • Ensuring compliance with PCI DSS, SWIFT, and local banking regulator requirements.
  • Participating in DR/BCP drills to maintain platform readiness.
  • Documenting work and providing clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Working collaboratively with other teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Dell/EMC, NetApp, HPE Storage certifications (Associate/Professional).
  • Brocade/Cisco SAN certifications; AWS S3/Object Storage fundamentals (nice-to-have).
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
