POSITION SUMMARY

As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms. This includes running sold room reports, verifying room status, and prioritizing room cleaning to meet deadlines. You will also assist housekeeping management in coordinating daily activities and serve as a liaison to other departments, including engineering, front office, and laundry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Run sold room reports and verify room status
  • Prioritize room cleaning and update status of departing guest rooms
  • Assist housekeeping management in managing daily activities
  • Serve as a liaison to coordinate efforts of housekeeping, engineering, front office, and laundry
  • Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the front desk
  • Prepare and distribute room assignments to housekeeping staff
  • Record, monitor, and update list of 'Do Not Disturb' rooms
  • Ensure vacant dirty rooms are cleaned by the necessary time and assign rush rooms and rooms previously on the 'Do Not Disturb' list
  • Complete required housekeeping paperwork

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience required
  • None
