Investment Research Specialist Role

The Investment Research Specialist plays a pivotal role in providing high-quality research to support investment decisions. Key responsibilities include creating and updating financial models, conducting valuation analyses, developing accurate assumptions, and screening large datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models with scenario analysis.
  • Conduct DCF, relative, SOTP, and other relevant valuation methods to inform investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Managers/Chief Investment Officers to identify investment ideas and provide data-driven insights.
  • Prepare earnings reviews, preview calls, management meetings, and pitch notes/presentations.
  • Stay up-to-date with market news and trends, analyzing their impact on investments.
  • Provide ad-hoc research requests and maintain constant communication with clients and stakeholders.

Required Skills:

  • Exceptional financial modeling, research report-writing, and presentation-making skills.
  • Ability to think critically and analyze drivers and KPIs across various sectors.
  • Strong client relationship management and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple workflows under tight deadlines.
