Job Title
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic medical records for patients, including demographics, medical history, diagnoses, treatments, and test results.
  • Ensure the security and confidentiality of patient medical records in compliance with relevant regulations, such as HIPAA.
  • Review and abstract medical records to identify and code relevant diagnoses, procedures, and treatments for billing and reimbursement purposes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and support staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of medical records and documentation.
  • Respond to requests for medical records from patients, healthcare providers, and other authorized individuals, while ensuring appropriate release of information.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and audits to ensure the accuracy and completeness of medical records.
  • Maintain and manage record-keeping systems, including electronic health record systems and related software.
  • Develop strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding, and classification systems, as well as electronic health record systems.
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy, along with strong communication skills.
