Key to Success: Automation Test Engineer

We are seeking an exceptional automation test engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create automated test scripts using Python to ensure product reliability and efficiency.
  • Work closely with development teams to understand product requirements and define test scenarios.
  • Write and execute test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and stability.
  • Use automation frameworks such as PyTest or Robot Framework for efficient test execution.
  • Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated testing seamlessly.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers for quick resolution.
  • Leverage Scala for back-end interactions and developing custom test utilities.
  • Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting activities.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for test strategies, test cases, and processes.

Essential Skills:

  • 5-8 years of experience in automation testing.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Python with test automation frameworks (PyTest, Robot Framework, or similar).
  • Experience in writing unit, integration, and functional test cases.
  • Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
  • Working experience with Scala for automation or backend-related tasks.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes in testing environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
