Lead the Development of Trustworthy AI Solutions

At the forefront of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), we are shaping the future of responsible innovation.

As a leader in AI Engineering, you will work with our team of experts to advance governance and assurance programs for governments, Big Tech companies, and regulators.

We are expanding into solutions at the intersection of Responsible AI and GRC, working directly with regulators and highly regulated industries to set the benchmark for trustworthy AI.

The Role: Technical Expert

Seeking an exceptional technical expert with significant experience in AI and machine learning, capable of shaping architecture and leading delivery in a fast-growing domain.

This could be a senior engineer with several years of industry or applied research experience, or an outstanding graduate/post-doctoral researcher from leading institutions who has already demonstrated technical leadership.

As one of our earliest technical hires, you will collaborate with our Responsible AI specialists and regulatory experts, helping to translate governance and compliance principles into robust technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architecture and Build
    • Define and lead the architecture of new systems, integrating open-source AI testing and assurance libraries.
    • Deliver lightweight, portable solutions in cloud environments.
  • AI Model Testing
    • Build and rigorously test models against fairness, robustness, explainability, and governance principles.
    • Implement reproducible pipelines for evaluation, benchmarking, and reporting.
    • Create dashboards and artefacts suitable for supervisors, standards bodies, and clients.
  • Collaboration and Growth
    • Partner with global Responsible AI leaders to shape practical solutions.
    • Contribute to pilots, client delivery, and the long-term technical roadmap of our solutions.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven track record building, training, and evaluating AI/ML models.
  • Experience developing or integrating AI testing and assurance tools.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and modern ML/AI libraries.
  • Experience with cloud computing and knowledge of scaling, training, and deployment of AI models.
  • Awareness of Responsible AI frameworks.
  • Hands-on familiarity with explainability and fairness tools.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
