About the Role

The Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team plays a critical operational role, combining software and systems engineering skills to develop and maintain real-time systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize existing system operations through automation and tooling for efficiency and scalability.
  • Build foundational technical components of a robust SRE program across multiple complex systems.
  • Collaborate with development and quant teams to ensure changes align with measurable Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
  • Monitor system capacity and performance, identifying potential bottlenecks and sources of instability.
  • Review automation code developed by peers, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, analyzing their impact on infrastructure and service operations.
  • Participate in design reviews with peers and stakeholders, evaluating technologies and automation strategies.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong coding skills in Python and PowerShell, ability to comprehend C# and develop applications.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, cloud-based services and infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and Configuration Management (Ansible).
  • Experience with container technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS, and ECS.
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong sense of ownership.
  • Commitment to highest ethical standards.
