Senior Enterprise Technology Engineer Job Description

As a Senior Enterprise Technology Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions that meet the business requirements of our clients. Your extensive experience in SAP consulting and implementation will enable you to analyze business needs and develop functional and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Translate requirements into functional and/or technical specifications and document them for implementation, leveraging strong analytical skills and operational process knowledge in SAP.
  • Prepare comprehensive solution design documentation, including configuration rationale, and deliver solution designs, configurations, and customizations to meet defined business process designs and requirements.
  • Build solution prototypes, conduct conference room pilots, and validate configurations and identify fit/gap resolutions, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Enter configurations into the "gold" or master configuration client and prepare them for migration to subsequent environments, utilizing expertise in SAP configuration within the IS-Oil domain.
  • Coordinate and participate in various testing phases, unit, regression, and user acceptance testing, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided to testers, deployment, and support teams.
  • Set up and prepare systems for migration through all stages up to production, fostering a seamless transition.
  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving standardized global solutions and supporting business process teams, stakeholders, and product managers in validating requirements.
  • Monitor system performance post-implementation, gather feedback, and identify improvement opportunities, promoting organizational learning and best practices.
  • Coordinate with external vendors or partners to ensure deliverables meet expectations, quality standards, and timelines, leveraging solid stakeholder management across internal and external groups.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills, extensive operational and functional process knowledge in SAP, and minimum 8+ years of SAP consulting experience with at least 2 full-cycle SAP implementations.
  • Proven expertise in SAP configuration within the IS-Oil domain, particularly the TDP module, and deep knowledge of Tax processes, especially Excise, for Europe, Australia, and New Zealand regions.
  • Strong understanding of SAP FI integration with MM, SD, Logistics, IS-OIL TSW, and TD modules, as well as ability to identify enhancements to SAP standard functionality.
  • Familiarity with SAP integration frameworks such as eDocument, ALE, SAP BTP, APIs, and interface design, and knowledge of Agile delivery, UX design, and Design Thinking methodologies.
