About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect with a deep understanding of asset management systems and modern cloud architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions across financial or banking sectors. This role is pivotal in shaping the next phase of our enterprise and data architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with both business and IT goals.

Key Responsibilities :

Enterprise Architecture Leadership :

- Drive architectural direction across asset management platforms, influencing enterprise and data architecture evolution.

Requirements Review & Solution Design :

- Collaborate with business and technology teams to gather and review requirements, ensuring fit-for-purpose solutions that are secure, scalable, and resilient.

Cloud Infrastructure Expertise :

- Design and manage cloud-native solutions leveraging services such as Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, object and block storage, caching, load balancers, networking, and auto-scaling mechanisms.

Architecture Governance :

- Ensure architectural decisions align with organizational policies and long-term strategic goals. Maintain architectural standards, reference models, and high-level design documents.

Adopt Modern Architectural Patterns :

- Implement patterns like microservices, event-driven architectures, and data mesh. Champion engineering best practices across the development lifecycle.

Security & Compliance :

- Apply security best practices including encryption, firewall configuration, and identity management to ensure compliance with regulatory and operational standards.

Business Continuity :

- Contribute to business continuity planning and disaster recovery strategies in solution design.

Mentorship & Strategic Guidance :

- Act as a thought leader and mentor to technology teams. Guide decisions to improve simplification, efficiency, and long-term effectiveness of the technology landscape.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10+ years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture within financial services, preferably in asset management.

- Proven expertise in designing cloud solutions using Azure, with a strong focus on databases (Azure SQL, PostgreSQL), storage, caching, networking, and scaling.

- Deep understanding of architectural patterns including microservices, event-driven systems, and data mesh.

- Solid grasp of security practices such as encryption, identity and access management, firewalls, and data protection.

- Strong background in software development and engineering best practices.

- Experience with business continuity and disaster recovery planning.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders across business and IT.

Preferred Certifications :

- Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert

- TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification

- Relevant cloud and security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP)
