Project Manager for Facility Engineering

We are seeking an experienced project manager to support our engineering activities within the Global Practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare proposals, assist in presentations, and participate in contract negotiations.
  • Arrange and attend interdepartmental meetings, client meetings, document meeting minutes, and take action as discussed.
  • Monitor department-wise pending point lists on a weekly basis to control design inputs and monitor overall project schedules.
  • Provide overall project management from concept to completion, including siting, planning, estimating, engineering, project controls, bid phase services, procurement, constructability reviews, and closeout.
  • Develop and monitor project schedules, manage scope, and control project costs using EcoSys.
  • Prepare and measure target progress and actual project progress, monitoring and taking corrective action when required.
  • Assist with internal project financials, staffing, change management, and human resource issues.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all assigned project engineering activities.
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure deliverables and services meet client satisfaction and follow internal QA/QC guidelines.
  • Report regularly on engineering progress, highlighting key parameters like scope, schedule, and budget, and any issues that may impact.
  • Maintain records of change requests, raise change notices, change proposals, and finalize change orders with clients.
  • Prepare project close-out reports.
  • Support project managers on multiple projects, coordinating with remote client-facing teams in the US from project handover to delivery.
  • Support recruitment and retention efforts to grow the project management team.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or institute.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of project management experience, with at least three years in the consulting industry.
  • Proven track record of supporting big facility projects in a project engineer role from conceptual design phase through commissioning.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in developing project schedules.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
