Job Overview :


- Our organization is seeking an experienced security professional to lead the management of Cloudflare Web Application Firewall (WAF) policies and rulesets. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting our financial web applications from OWASP Top 10 threats and zero-day exploits.

- This role requires overseeing rule tuning, false positive management, and configuration of Bot Mitigation, Rate Limiting, and DDoS Protection. The individual will also participate in vulnerability remediation cycles, ensuring virtual patching through WAF policies.

- Additionally, this position involves conducting monthly policy reviews, performing simulated attacks for resilience validation, and applying version updates as needed. It also includes documenting all policy configurations, rationales, and threat detection results for audit and governance purposes.

- We are looking for a skilled professional who can work with developers and AppSec teams to align WAF policies with application behavior and threat models. The ideal candidate should have experience troubleshooting web traffic issues, SSL certificate renewals, and secure CDN operations.

- Another key responsibility of this role is providing architectural input on securing new applications and APIs through Cloudflare WAF. The individual will also support incident response activities, forensic analysis, and ensure high availability of WAF services.

- To be considered for this position, candidates should have at least 8 years of experience in application or network security, with 3+ years of Cloudflare WAF experience. A strong background in OWASP, protocols, TLS configurations, and Cloudflare dashboards is required.

- Certification in Cloudflare Certified, CEH, or OSWE is preferred. A deep understanding of RBI and SEBI appsec controls and web access compliance is also essential.

Requirements :

- 8+ years in application or network security;
3+ years Cloudflare WAF experience;
Strong hands-on with OWASP, protocols, TLS configurations, and Cloudflare dashboards;
Cloudflare Certified, CEH, or OSWE preferred;
In-depth understanding of RBI and SEBI appsec controls and web access compliance.
