Backend Software Engineering Expert

The Industrial AI-Agent Backend Engineer plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of industrial operations by building foundational services that power agent orchestration, feedback systems, and data capture for Large Language Model fine-tuning.

This expert will be responsible for designing and maintaining backend services for agent orchestration, session tracking, and feedback ingestion. APIs and microservices will be built to support real-time and batch workflows, integrating observability tooling to enable fine-grained monitoring of agent behavior.

Collaboration with the AI team is crucial to structure data pipelines and interaction logs. The successful candidate will contribute to internal SDKs and service interfaces used across deployments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and maintain backend services for agent orchestration, session tracking, and feedback ingestion
  • Build APIs and microservices that support real-time and batch workflows
  • Integrate observability tooling to enable fine-grained monitoring of agent behavior
  • Work closely with the AI team to structure data pipelines and interaction logs
  • Contribute to internal SDKs and service interfaces used across deployments
Requirements:
  • 2–5 years of backend engineering experience (Node.js, Python, or similar)
  • Experience with API development, WebSockets, and microservices patterns
  • Familiarity with DynamoDB, Redis, and message buses like Kafka/EventBridge
  • Exposure to observability stacks (OpenTelemetry, tracing, metrics)
  • Bonus: experience working on LLM-based or event-driven systems
