Project Coordination Expert

This role is responsible for overseeing project planning, managing site contractors, and ensuring work is completed to a satisfactory standard. The successful candidate will supervise fit-out works including all interior fixings and equipment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the planning, coordination, and control of projects from inception to completion.
  • Establishing excellent working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
  • Developing and implementing project management plans.
  • Managing project budgets and expenditures to achieve completion within allocated resources.
  • Establishing and controlling project master programs.
  • Monitoring compliance with construction programs and identifying mitigation plans in case of delays.
  • Implementing change control processes.
  • Proactively identifying risks and issues and formulating risk mitigation plans.
  • Chairing meetings and ensuring timely action on minutes.
  • Providing regular reporting on project progress, cost, key risks, and decisions required.
  • Assessing and resolving site coordination issues.
  • Carrying out contract administration duties including issuing payment certificates.
  • Managing health and safety before and during construction.
  • Coordinating the project handover and close-out phases.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in Civil or MEP.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in interior fit-outs, preferably leading IPC teams in Retail, Commercial, or F&B industries.
  • Excellent organizational and motivational skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
