Job Title: Freight Lead

The ideal candidate will possess leadership skills and drive strategic initiatives to optimize carrier rates, negotiate with shipping lines, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Pan India carrier rate negotiations with suppliers
  • Procure DDU/DDP rates from the network
  • Handle RFQs (Request for Quotations) from customers
  • Provide customer and network quotations
  • Plan and book shipments effectively

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in ocean freight pricing
  • Experience in leading teams
  • Exposure to Pan India pricing and market knowledge
  • Freight forwarding experience is necessary
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills

Additional Requirements:

  • Qualifications include exposure to Pan India pricing, handling large volumes alongside market knowledge, and freight forwarding experience
  • Strong senior management carrier relationship skills are essential
