As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the short-term liquidity of funds. Your expertise in understanding complex financial portfolios, their financing structures, and dynamics will enable you to efficiently analyze changes in liquidity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understanding various margining methodologies of several agreements within a portfolio and tracking internal views of margin.
  • Implementing end-to-end solutions for margin/financing, broker revenue, and counterparty exposure information.
  • Managing stakeholder expectations by identifying their needs, articulating the scope of the offering, escalating issues in a timely manner, and showcasing persuasiveness in bringing about change.
  • Gathering and analyzing data, performing GAP analysis, mapping, data transformation, loading, and reconciliation, as well as BAU activities setup, client parallel support, etc., in client platforms as part of client implementation.
  • Collaborating with technology teams on special projects, developing bespoke reports, developing specifications, product implementation, and UAT.
  • Overseeing Treasury and Cash Management operations to ensure optimal liquidity and funding strategies.
  • Managing collateral and liquidity positions to support trading and risk management activities.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience working in treasury coupled with in-depth domain/finance knowledge.
  • Experience with collateral management and financing agreements, as well as margin methodologies.
  • Knowledge of securities lending and borrowing, as well as optimization of portfolio financing.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of Margin Calls and Security Lending.
  • Knowledge of Treasury/Cash Management and Collateral and Liquidity Management.
  • Proven track-record of handling projects and improving processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative attitude.
  • Effective oral/written communications skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and take on additional operational tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel.
  • Hands-on experience with VBA macros/Python is an advantage.
