Job Title: Region Supply Chain Manager

This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless supply chain operations, encompassing quality control, timely delivery, and reliability. As a single point of contact for region suppliers, you will be responsible for tracking rail vehicle components throughout the production chain.

Key responsibilities include stabilizing the supply chain at the supplier level without compromising quality, cross-project bundling, and reporting current production and delivery status information to interface partners. Additionally, you will act as an escalation authority, carrying out special measures with suppliers in the event of escalations.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical and logistical understanding, with strong SAP knowledge and fluency in English. Knowledge of Hindi or regional languages is also desirable.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Automobile, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Technical training with additional qualifications (technician/master craftsman) or a degree with a predominantly technical focus
  • In-depth experience in manufacturing processes, preferably in the rail vehicle industry
  • Strong technical and logistical understanding, with expertise in SAP
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, with knowledge of Hindi or regional languages
