Transform Manufacturing with Precision Engineering

As a mid-level Mechanical CAD Engineer, you will focus on precision part design and documentation for CNC-machined and cast components. You will play a crucial role in shaping the direction of our AI product that generates 2D drawings from 3D models by bringing your mechanical engineering knowledge and experience with geometrical tolerancing to ensure designs are manufacturing readiness and adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct simulations and tests to validate designs, creating technical drawings and documentation,
  • Apply GD&T per ISO, ASME Y14.5 standards to define form, fit, and function of parts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to iterate on designs
  • Support design reviews and provide technical input on manufacturability

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2–7 years of hands-on experience in 2D mechanical engineering for products from prototype to production, with a primary focus on CNC machining and casting
  • Proficient in SOLIDWORKS and other CAD software i.e. NX, CATIA
  • Strong working knowledge of GD&T principles
  • ISO or ASME Y14.5 certification is strongly preferred but not mandatory
