Senior Project Manager - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

This key role requires an experienced professional to oversee the lifecycle of large-scale ERP implementations, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery. The successful candidate will drive customer success and end-to-end delivery excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the implementation process for Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central, adhering to defined scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Develop and maintain project governance structures, ensuring effective project execution.
  • Create detailed project plans, work breakdown structures (WBS), and assign resources efficiently.
Client Engagement:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing their expectations and ensuring high satisfaction levels.
  • Conduct requirement workshops, document business processes, and identify functional/technical gaps.
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients on optimizing business processes and leveraging ERP best practices.
Technical Alignment:
  • Collaborate closely with technical consultants to design, configure, and implement solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Ensure seamless data migration, validation, and reconciliation between legacy systems and Dynamics NAV/BC.
  • Monitor integrations with connected applications (CRM, Power Platform, Azure services, etc.).
Risk Management:
  • Proactively identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure adherence to SDLC methodologies (Agile/Scrum/Waterfall).
  • Manage change requests, scope adjustments, and impact analysis while maintaining project health.
Team Leadership:
  • Mentor and guide team members to enhance delivery capabilities.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure effective knowledge transfer and user training.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics applications with at least 5 successful implementation cycles.
  • Strong knowledge of core ERP modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales) with cross-module exposure.
  • Ability to understand, document, and optimize business processes from a client perspective.
  • Proven experience in requirement gathering, gap analysis, solution design, UAT management, and data migration.
  • Strong command of SDLC methodologies (Agile/Scrum), resource planning, and risk management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction and stakeholder reporting.
  • Ability to work closely with developers, architects, and integration specialists.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites when required.
