Job Title: Cloud Security Architect

About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Architect to join our team and design secure cloud solutions using a broad range of AWS services.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on AWS and in-depth knowledge of services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ECS, and others.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Amazon AWS based cloud solutions to implement identity and access management (IAM) controls.
  • Collaborate with cloud architects and developers to create security solutions for cloud environments by designing security controls and ensuring they are integrated into cloud platforms and adherence to relevant compliance standards.
  • Monitor cloud environments for suspicious activities and threats using tools like SIEM systems and implement security governance policies and maintain audit logs for regulatory requirements.
  • Automate cloud security processes using tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) to ensure secure deployment and configuration.
  • Secure and encrypt data by providing secret management solutions with versioning enabled and collaborate with DevOps, network, and software development teams to promote secure cloud practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Platform Engineer, with a strong focus on AWS.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ECS, and others.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and compliance standards in cloud environments.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
