Cloud Native Architect

Experienced cloud native architect with 10+ years of experience in modernizing legacy applications into scalable, cloud-native solutions using .NET Core, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure. Strong background in DevOps, security best practices, and mentoring development teams.

Key skills include driving containerization efforts with Docker & Kubernetes, defining and implementing robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc., enforcing best practices in SaaS multi-tenancy, security, and data isolation, collaborating closely with Product, DevOps, and QA teams to align technical direction with business goals, conducting code reviews and mentoring development teams, evaluating and recommending optimal Azure/AWS services for migration and greenfield development, defining performance benchmarks and performing system tuning, ensuring compliance with security, regulatory, and data privacy standards.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET stack, including ASP.NET, .NET Core/.NET 6+.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms – Azure (preferred) or AWS/GCP.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
  • Expertise in building and migrating applications to SaaS architectures.
  • Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIs, gRPC, message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
  • Experience with SQL Server and NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB, MongoDB) in cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM).
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and CQRS.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with AKS/EKS and serverless computing (Azure Functions, AWS Lambda).
  • Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture, OAuth2, OpenID Connect.
  • Prior experience modernizing monolithic apps into cloud-native architecture.
