Are you a skilled detailer with a passion for rebar placement? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Rebar Detailer.

Job Description:

The role of a Rebar Detailer involves performing a comprehensive range of detailing tasks using software such as aSa or CADS RC throughout the project lifecycle. This includes producing accurate placing drawings/models and bar lists necessary for the fabrication and placement of reinforcing steel bars and related accessories in accordance with customer contract documents, industry standards, and established practices and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Estimation and Review: Review the scope and details of work involved and estimate the time required to complete the given schedule.
  2. Contract Drawings: Thoroughly review contract drawings and details ahead of detailing or estimating and raise questions on ambiguous items.
  3. Rebar Placing Drawings: Prepare simple to complex rebar placing drawings/estimates of structural components of any configuration using customer structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and other hand-off documents.
  4. Bar Lists and Order Forms: Create bar lists and order forms for accessory items in accordance with the project pour sequence and schedule.
  5. Quality Control: FOLLOW process and procedures defined for self-checking and produce quality detailing or estimating.
  6. Deliverables: Deliver quality output within the given timeline and proactively report any deviations to the respective Team leader.
  7. Knowledge Sharing: Senior team members are responsible for sharing knowledge and nurturing junior team members.

Work Experience:

  1. At least 2 years' experience in Structural Steel Detailing is preferred.

Education/Training:

  1. A University Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Architectural Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
  2. Certificate or training in Rebar Detailing or Estimating software, e.g. aSa, CADS RC, Revit.
