About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled QA professional with expertise in test automation to collaborate with our team.

As a Software Test Specialist, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and develop efficient automated test scripts, perform automation and manual testing, and identify and resolve any issues that arise.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop efficient, scalable, and maintainable automated test scripts using various tools and programming languages.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to understand project requirements and develop appropriate automation strategies.
  • Analyze software applications to identify areas for automation.
  • Execute automated tests to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug test failures and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to test automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test cases for automation.
  • Maintain test data and test environments necessary for test execution.
  • Monitor and report test results, metrics, and defects to ensure timely and accurate feedback to the development team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 2-6 years of experience as an Automation Engineer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools and programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, and JavaScript.
  • Understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and practices.
  • Solid knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Experience with version control systems and issue tracking systems.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Candidates Must Have
  • B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science, MCA or related field.
  • Experience with other test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of database systems and SQL.
