Test Automation Engineer Position

This is a challenging opportunity to join a leading QA provider as a Test Automation Engineer.

  • We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who can design, develop, maintain, and improve test cases and test plans according to specified requirements.
  • The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the Page Object Model, experience with REST API testing, and proficiency with testing tools such as TeamCity, Cucumber, WebdriverIO, and JavaScript.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in release and QA activities planning
  • Define the scope of work and prioritize tasks independently
  • Design, develop, maintain, and improve test cases and test plans according to specified requirements
  • Report test results and defects
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues in software
  • Develop and maintain automated tests
  • Analyze test results and configure testing environments
  • Design and enhance automation frameworks
  • Participate in team meetings and adhere to established project workflows

Requirements:

  • Capability to perform both automated and manual testing
  • Understanding of software development life cycle and QA processes
  • Perfect understanding of QA processes and methodologies – test planning, test case management tools, bug tracking systems, and software development life cycle
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with product owners and developers, as well as work independently
  • Self-motivated and quick to learn new technologies
  • Strong communication skills
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher
  • Familiarity with Agile software development lifecycle and the role of QA within it
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years in test automation and functional testing, including practical experience in automation
  • Ability to work independently as the sole automation engineer on a project
