Human Resource Compliance Specialist

The role of an Associate Manager is pivotal in ensuring organizational compliance with regulatory labour laws, including those specific to the financial services industry. This involves end-to-end execution, documentation, governance, vendor coordination, audits, and proactive process improvement across HR compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Labor Law Compliance: Ensure timely compliance with applicable labor laws, EPF, ESIC, PT, LWF, CLRA, S&E Acts, ID Act, Gratuity Act, etc.
- Compliance Oversight: Oversee state-wise compliance requirements and filings across locations.
- New Hire Onboarding: Conduct onboarding checks for statutory forms and declarations (Form 2, ESIC, PF nomination, UAN verification).
- Employee Support: Address and resolve employee PF-related queries in coordination with vendors and regional offices.
- Tracking and Closure: Ensure real-time tracking and closure of compliance deliverables using Navi's compliance tracking system.
- Interpretation and Implementation: Interpret and implement HR compliance guidelines issued by IRDAI, RBI, SEBI.
- Regulatory Awareness: Maintain awareness of new and changing regulatory mandates affecting HR operations and workforce governance.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Ensure documentation and records are maintained as per the requirements of sector regulators.
- Maintaining Registers and Records: Maintain statutory registers, compliance folders, and inspection records.
- Supporting Audits: Coordinate and support internal, external, and regulatory audits for HR data, PI data, and vendor data.
- Minimum Wages Audit and Review: Ensure state-wise minimum wages audit, and holiday calendar review and publishing.
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in HR compliance, preferably in a regulated industry (financial services, fintech, or insurance), with hands-on experience managing compliance audits, inspections, and liaising with regulatory authorities.
