Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Embedded Software Engineer to lead our team in the design, development, and maintenance of real-time embedded software for industrial control system products. As a Lead Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing software solutions that meet the needs of our customers and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain real-time embedded software for industrial control system products
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design and develop software solutions
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure software meets customer needs and industry standards
  • Develop and implement software testing and validation processes
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in real-time embedded software development
  • Strong expertise in C/C++ programming languages
  • Experience with low-level device drivers and application firmware development
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as EtherCat, Profinet, and Modbus TCP
  • Experience with Agile development processes and Continuous Integration systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers
  • Firmware development experience with Xilinx's Ultrascale FPGAs
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python
