Public Relations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Public Relations Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public relations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think strategically. They will be responsible for planning and directing public relations programs to create and maintain a favorable public image for our organization.

  • Plan and direct public relations programs to create and maintain a favorable public image for our organization.
  • Collaborate with external partners to ensure optimal delivery of PR campaigns.
  • Create company literature and other forms of communication.
  • Work with the marketing team to create marketing and promotional materials.
  • Coordinate with advertisers for timely and usable ad submissions.
  • Copyedit, proofread, and revise communications.
  • Review email marketing campaigns.
  • Provide recommendations on site design and operation from a PR perspective.
  • Manage events organized by our organization.
  • Promote products and services through public relations initiatives.
  • Develop marketing communications campaigns.
  • Create content to position our organization as a thought leader in the industry.
  • Write and deliver press releases, media relations content, case studies, white papers, executive bios, corporate newsletters, social media content, and speaking proposals.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain a communications strategy for key media contacts and customer references.
  • Research media coverage and industry trends.
  • Develop fresh story ideas for PR angles.
  • Conduct extensive media outreach.
  • Coordinate conferences, trade shows, and press interviews.
Requirements:
  • 3-6 years of relevant PR industry experience.
  • Experience both as a PR specialist in a company and a PR agency.
  • Established connections with the media fraternity.
  • Understanding of web technologies.
  • Experience in branding, positioning, and lead-generation for a technology company.
  • Outstanding communication skills in copywriting, web content, email campaign content writing, blogging, etc.
  • Team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide other departments when necessary.
