Lead Tax Expert

Senior Manager - Taxation is a strategic leadership role responsible for handling corporate restructuring exercises from a taxation point of view. This includes merger and demerger activities, income tax, corporate tax, and transfer pricing expertise.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience in direct tax compliance, including interpreting the Income Tax Act, rules, notifications, circulars, and case law. They should also be familiar with GST compliance, return filings, input credit reconciliations, and e-invoicing.
Additionally, the successful candidate will have hands-on experience with tax accounting, including tax provision workings, tax ledger reconciliations, and audit schedules. They should be able to assess tax impact on business transactions and provide strategic input.
They must also possess the ability to conduct internal training or create awareness on tax policy changes.
Good to have: Sector-Specific Tax Exposure, experience in handling industry-specific tax nuances such as logistics, SaaS, fintech, and e-comm.
