Job Description:

The Storage Systems Administrator is responsible for designing and implementing NetApp storage systems, including procurement, installation, configuration, software upgrades, and storage provisioning. This role requires a strong technical understanding of software tools from NetApp and experience with fabric switches, CMODE, CDOT, and Hitachi.


Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with NetApp, Hitachi, CMODE, CDOT, and fabric switches
  • Strong technical skills and in-depth understanding of software tools from NetApp (OCUM, OCI)
  • Designing and implementing Netapp storage systems
  • Adding disk shelves to existing storage for standalone and high-availability controllers
  • Experience in configuring and managing DR replications via SnapMirror
  • Managing vfilers, fiber interconnect switches, storage reporting and monitoring tools
  • Excellent understanding of technologies such as CIFS, NFS, and enterprise process mapping tools and techniques
  • Providing operational support to the file serving/NAS infrastructure
  • Planning and implementing data migrations using Robocopy
  • Experience with operational ticketing systems like ServiceNow
