Are you a skilled and detail-oriented engineer with a passion for designing innovative aerospace structures?
We are seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join our team, responsible for creating high-strength structural solutions that meet aerospace performance, safety, and compliance standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of aircraft/UAV structural design principles, hands-on experience with ANSYS, and proficiency in CAD software such as CATIA, Fusion 360. Knowledge of material properties, including composite materials, aluminium alloys, and titanium, is also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop primary and secondary aircraft/UAV structures using composite and metallic materials.
- Perform structural analysis (static, dynamic, fatigue, and impact) using tools like ANSYS.
- Support weight optimization and structural efficiency improvement initiatives.
- Conduct FEA (Finite Element Analysis) for load cases derived from flight, ground, and environmental conditions.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and testing teams to ensure structural integrity and manufacturability.
- Participate in structural testing (static load tests, vibration tests, drop tests) and correlate results with analysis.
- Ensure designs comply with aerospace standards such as MIL-STD, ASTM, or DGCA/CAA regulations.
