At EXL, we are seeking a skilled Actuary to join our Reserving team. In this role, you will play a critical part in analyzing and estimating reserves for our P&C insurance products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data and perform actuarial calculations to assess risks and determine appropriate reserve levels.
  • Collaborate with the Reserving Team to review and analyze loss reserves.
  • Apply various reserving methods and techniques to estimate liabilities.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes related to reserving, including Solvency II or IFRS 17 requirements.
  • Prepare and present actuarial findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in engineering, economics, mathematics, actuarial sciences, statistics.
  • Affiliation to IAI or IFOA, with at least 8-9 CT actuarial exams.
  • At least 5yrs+ Actuarial experience in the P&C insurance industry.
  • Strong reserving experience or good knowledge of reserving methods and techniques.
