Job Title: Art Director

Job Summary:

At Zynga, we're seeking an exceptional Art Director to lead our team of artists in creating world-class games. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for guiding the visual direction, art development process, and overall aesthetic of our games.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain game art assets, ensuring high-quality execution and adherence to project schedules and budgets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and producers, to deliver games that meet our high standards.
  • Assist in researching and exploring best practices in art direction, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing effective solutions.
  • Develop and refine art pipeline workflows, ensuring efficiency and quality throughout the creative process.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to junior artists, helping them grow and develop their skills.
  • Work closely with product managers and leads to understand project requirements and ensure the art team's deliverables meet expectations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Arts, Graphic Arts, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in the entertainment and/or game markets, with a minimum of 2 years as a senior-level professional.
  • Expertise in arts/design, with a demonstrated ability to direct, mentor, and enhance the efforts of a creative team.
  • Minimum of two shipped titles as Associate Art Director/Art Director, ideally from pre-production through launch and live operations.
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent grammatical skills and the ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
