Job Overview

Data migration specialists play a crucial role in ensuring seamless transitions between systems. As a data migration specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that align with program objectives and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 1. Data Migration Strategy: Develop a comprehensive data migration strategy, encompassing scope, roadmap, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
  • 2. Execution & Delivery: Lead the end-to-end execution of data migration activities, including extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), validation, and reconciliation, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • 3. Data Quality and Governance: Establish and enforce data quality rules, cleansing standards, and validation procedures to maintain data integrity and adherence to governance frameworks.
  • 4. Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, providing regular updates, and ensuring effective communication throughout the data migration process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years of experience in data migration, data integration, or data management roles.
  • Proven track record of leading at least one full-cycle data migration project for major ERP, HCM, or CRM implementations.
  • Experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, and BAAN.
  • Familiarity with data migration tools and technologies.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, master data management (MDM), and data governance principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Project management skills and certifications.
