Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize data transformation processes using Snowflake to power human connection at events worldwide.
  • Implement complex queries and data transformations using SQL scripting to meet diverse client needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Develop, test, and deploy data models and transformations using dbt Cloud to foster growth.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub, to automate workflows and ensure seamless integration.
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and performance across all solutions by leveraging knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processes and workflows, leading or participating in data migration projects as needed.
  • Utilize Jira or similar agile systems to manage tasks and collaborate with teams, staying updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in data transformation and SQL scripting, with extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake.
  • Experience in cloud data warehousing and business intelligence, familiarity with other data integration tools and platforms.
  • Proficiency in dbt Cloud and developing data models, experience with CI/CD processes, preferably using GitHub.
  • Familiarity with Jira or similar agile systems, demonstrated experience in data migration projects, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
