Good Shepherd International School seeks a highly experienced Department Head to lead our teaching and learning initiatives.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving academic excellence and implementing effective teaching strategies. With 15 years of experience in teaching IBDP/IGCSE, you will be responsible for overseeing curriculum mapping, mentoring teachers, and ensuring student progress and achievements.
Responsibilities- To develop and implement policies and practices that promote high achievement through effective teaching and learning.
- To oversee the Curriculum Mapping process within the department, ensuring vertical and horizontal coordination and alignment of the curriculum.
- To engage subject staff in creating, consistently implementing, and improving teaching and learning strategies.
We are looking for a qualified professional with:
- A Postgraduate or Doctorate degree with professional teaching qualification.
- Senior teaching experience (IBDP/IGCSE preferred) with a proven track record of producing excellent board results.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
The estimated annual salary for this role is ₹10,00,000 - ₹15,00,000 based on industry standards and location.
