Job Title

Design and drive end-to-end data and analytics solution architecture from concept to delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable analytical solutions leveraging cloud and big data technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, Develop, and Support Data Models: Design, develop, and support conceptual, logical, and physical data models for analytics solutions.
  • Ensure Data Architecture Principles: Ensure that industry-accepted data architecture principles, standards, guidelines, and concepts are integrated with those of allied disciplines.
  • Drive Technology Strategy: Drive the design, sizing, setup, etc., of Azure environments and related services.
  • Mentor Development Teams: Provide mentoring on data architecture design and requirements to development and business teams.
  • Review Solution Requirements: Review solution requirements and architecture to ensure selection of appropriate technology, efficient use of resources, and integration of multiple systems and technology.

Requirements:

  • 10+ Years Experience: Demonstrated experience delivering multiple data solutions.
  • ETL Development: Demonstrated experience with ETL development both on-premises and in the cloud using SSIS, Data Factory, and related Microsoft and other ETL technologies.
  • Cloud and Big Data Technologies: Deep understanding of cloud and big data technologies, including SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, HDInsights, Azure Data Lake.
  • Data Models: Demonstrated experience with different data models like normalised, de-normalized, stars, and snowflake models.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and organisational skills are essential for this position.
