Job Overview

  • Credit Risk Management: We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Analyst to develop, implement, and review credit risk models and associated frameworks in an unsecured rural/semi-urban lending context.
  • Risk Strategy Implementation: The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring credit risk strategies across the lending life cycle, including acquisition, underwriting, cross-sell, and collections.
  • Portfolio Analysis: You will review portfolios on a periodic basis, analyzing various risk metrics for early warning signals and tracking portfolio trends to ensure quality adherence to accepted risk parameters.
  • Risk Policy Review: Our team relies on your expertise to ensure risk policies are timely reviewed and reflect the dynamic external environment and internal risk appetite.
  • Industry Insights: Analyze industry data at scale, preparing MIS/Dashboards and apprising senior management on changing market conditions.
  • Process Optimization: Regularly review processes for adherence to risk policies, ensuring controls are effectively in place and functioning as intended.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams to strengthen our risk framework.

Requirements

  • Education: A BTech or MTech degree from a Tier 1 college is required.
  • Experience: 3-6 years of experience in managing risk in a NBFC/Fintech/Lending environment is necessary.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and SQL is mandatory, along with excellent data analysis skills and a sound knowledge of statistical models.
  • Bonus Advantage: Experience in Microfinance/MSME Lending is highly valued.
