Your Role

As a Procurement Specialist II, you will be responsible for requisition approval and denial, PO maintenance activities, and providing assisted buying services as needed. You will also be responsible for order follow-up with suppliers, direct requestors to correct buying channels to ensure policy/contract compliance, and train end-users on existing processes and familiarize them with content available in Ariba.

Your Responsibilities

  • Requisition Approval and Denial
  • PO Maintenance Activities
  • Provide assisted buying services as needed
  • Order follow-up with Supplier (expediting)
  • Direct requestor to correct buying channel to ensure policy/contract compliance
  • Train end users on existing processes and familiarize them with content available in Ariba
  • Respond to inquiry received for all relevant P2P process areas
  • Ticket Management
  • Reporting and analyzing
  • Recognize and communicates potential issues to Service Lead
  • Contribute ideas and actions towards the continuous improvement of service center – related processes within area of influence
  • Identify potential problems and/or delays in processing correspondence and deliveries and notifies appropriate staff
  • Stakeholder management
  • Execute supplier selection (RFx, negotiations) and determine PO terms. Based on local requirements, initiate contract signature process and follow-up on distribution to supplier.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Communication, Business Economics or related business area
  • Minimum 2 years in Procurement
