About the Role

This is a senior position for an experienced data scientist to design, build and scale AI-powered solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical leadership skills, applied research expertise and business impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate complex business problems into advanced statistical frameworks.
  • Develop scalable ML and DL solutions with a focus on LLMs and Generative AI.
  • Build and optimize training, fine-tuning, evaluation and deployment pipelines for LLMs.
  • Apply Responsible AI principles to ensure fairness, explainability and bias mitigation.
  • Lead applied research and incorporate cutting-edge GenAI methods into production.
  • Build scalable data pipelines and end-to-end ML systems on cloud platforms.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior talent and influence the data science roadmap.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science or related fields.
  • 8-12 years of experience in applied data science/ML with strong domain exposure to e-commerce, advertising or retail.
  • 3-4 years of hands-on experience in LLMs, Generative AI and NLP.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience guiding projects and teams.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, PyTorch/TensorFlow and cloud ML platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Experience with MLOps frameworks (MLflow, Kubeflow, Vertex AI, SageMaker).
  • Solid statistical foundation (hypothesis testing, regression, causal inference, time-series).
