Job Opportunity
We are seeking a Professor of Practice in Computer Science Engineering to join our institution. As a Professor of Practice, you will play a key role in enriching our academic programs and bridging the gap between academia and industry.

About the Role
This is a unique opportunity for professionals with significant industry experience to bring practical knowledge and insights to our students. You will be responsible for delivering industry-relevant teaching and mentorship to undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and update curricula incorporating current industry trends and technologies.
  • Collaborate with faculty and industry partners to facilitate internships, live projects, and workshops.
  • Provide expert guidance on practical problem-solving, technology implementation, and innovation.
  • Participate in university initiatives to enhance employability and skill development.
  • Engage in consultancy, professional development programs, and collaborative projects with industry.

Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering or related discipline; a PhD is mandatory.
  • Significant industry experience in Computer Science Engineering or relevant technology fields.
  • Demonstrated expertise in software development, systems engineering, data science, cybersecurity, AI/ML, or other relevant domains.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey practical knowledge.

Preferred Attributes
While not essential, it would be beneficial if you have experience in curriculum design and applied research projects, a strong network within the technology industry, passion for mentoring and developing students' industry readiness, and experience with emerging technologies and digital transformation initiatives.
