Job Title: Associate Professor

About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Associate Professor in Computer Science Engineering to join our faculty team. The ideal candidate will be a distinguished expert with a strong academic background, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to research excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality lectures and tutorials at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Computer Science Engineering.
  • Guide and mentor students in projects, theses, and research activities, fostering their growth and development.
  • Contribute to research initiatives, publish in reputable journals, and present at conferences, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation.
  • Develop innovative curriculum and course materials that align with industry trends and academic standards, enhancing student learning outcomes.
  • Supervise PhD scholars and create a research-oriented environment within the department, driving academic excellence and impact.
  • Participate in departmental administration, academic committees, and university initiatives, demonstrating leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Cultivate relationships with industry partners for consultancy projects, workshops, and seminars, promoting collaborative knowledge exchange and application.
Qualifications and Experience
  • PhD in Computer Science Engineering or a related field from a recognized university.
  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in teaching, research, or industry, with at least 5 years of experience as an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor post-PhD.
  • A strong publication record in reputable international journals and conferences.
  • Proven track record in securing research funding and leading projects, demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit and initiative.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Expertise in one or more areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Networking, or related fields, desirable but not essential.
