About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Director who will provide strategic direction and academic leadership across all programs.

  • Foster a culture of research and collaboration while promoting excellence in education and industry partnerships.
  • Oversee faculty recruitment, workload allocation, resource planning, and operational efficiency to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Promote research publications, patents, funded projects, and consultancy services to enhance the institution's reputation.
  • Mentor faculty for academic growth, research enhancement, and professional development to create a thriving learning environment.
  • Represent the institution in academic forums, conferences, and industry events to establish its presence.

The ideal candidate should have expertise in one or more areas such as Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Data Science & Big Data Analytics, Cloud Computing & Distributed Systems, Cybersecurity & Network Security, Internet of Things (IoT), Software Engineering, Database Management Systems, Embedded Systems, Web Technologies & Mobile Computing, System Design & Architecture, Emerging Technologies.

Qualifications
  • Educational Qualification:
  • Ph.D. in Computer Science/Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related discipline from a reputable institution.
  • B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in relevant branches with a consistently good academic record.
  • Experience:
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in academia/research/industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership or administrative role.
  • A proven track record of academic leadership, program management, publications, executing funded research projects, mentoring faculty, and guiding Ph.D. scholars.
Required Skills
  • Strong industry network and exposure to emerging technologies.
  • Familiarity with outcome-based education, Bloom's Taxonomy, and academic benchmarking.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to drive innovation, entrepreneurship, and global engagement.
