About the Opportunity
Dotdash Meredith, a leading global media company, is seeking an experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join its Internal Audit team based in Bangalore, India.
The successful candidate will be part of a well-established Internal Audit team, reporting to the Manager/Senior Manager, Internal Audit in India, and working closely with the US Internal Audit team and stakeholders/management. Our global Internal Audit function performs operational, financial, and information technology audits, as well as data analytic and automation projects for IA across all our locations and businesses.
Job Summary
This role offers an exciting opportunity to perform audit work, including plan preparation, work papers, findings, and associated reports. You will assess, design, document, and test the operating effectiveness of key controls, conduct internal controls testing, and identify issues/gaps with respect to control design or operations.
You will also create and maintain process documentation, interact with process owners and stakeholders independently, and identify systems, business, and process improvement opportunities. Additionally, you will assist management with special projects and have the ability to mentor and manage junior team members as well as work independently when required.
What We Offer
As a Senior Internal Auditor, you can expect a competitive salary, between ₹18-25 lacs (approximately $23,000-$32,000 USD) per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform audit work, including plan preparation, work papers, findings, and associated reports
- Assess, design, document, and test the operating effectiveness of key controls

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3-7 years of experience in internal auditing or a related field
- Certificate in accounting (CA/CPA/ACCA) or MBA in Finance/Accounting
- Strong technical and audit knowledge
- Regulatory knowledge like Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) preferred
